Day 1

London

Arrive at Heathrow

Check in hotel at 1400hrs. Meet AirHob representative / local representative. After lunch Board the bus and visit the Swaminarayan Temple which is a Hindu temple in the London Borough of Brent in northwest London. Built entirely using traditional methods and materials, Neasden’s Swaminarayan Mandir has been described as being Britain’s first authentic Hindu temple. It was also Europe’s first traditional Hindu stone temple, have lunch at restaurant and head to Madam Tussauds. Start your visit to Madame Tussauds by sneaking past the paparazzi to attend a photo shoot with Kate Moss. Then mingle with Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad, Angelina, Michael Jackson and all the other A-list starts in your very own premiere party before taking your challenge in the Big Brother Diary Room. A day in London

Hurry with your breakfast at the hotel and leave for the most exciting for full day London sightseeing by coach. See the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace (if scheduled today), have a lunch at restaurant and continue with the tour of London. Entrance fee to the Tower of London & Crown Jewels. Then it's on to the Tower of London, the ancient fortress steeped in centuries of murder and treason, guarded by jet-black ravens. The splendidly dressed Beefeaters will tell you about the Tower's history, including tragic tales of royals and nobles who met their end within its walls. You'll also see the fabulous Crown Jewels, including the 6,000-year-old Koh-I-Noor diamond and impressive coronation regalia. Cruise on the Thames from Tower Pier to London Eye the best way to see the sights and splendour of this great city is from the deck of a boat. Aboard the sightseeing cruise, you'll travel in comfort and style past London's world-famous landmarks. The boats have open upper decks for great sightseeing and comfortable lower saloons. Relax and enjoy the views, onboard commentary, light refreshments and full bar service as London's famous sights glide by. The cruise departed from Waterloo Pier, and it’s a 40 minutes round tour only, with a guide giving a full (and amusing) explanation about London attractions and its river. You will be welcomed by the local guide who will take you walking around Oxford, Home to the oldest University in Britain, Oxford is an architectural marvel. You'll get fantastic views of its honey coloured buildings as well as tantalizing glimpses of the hushed courtyards of its many colleges. Enjoy lunch at restaurant and head for Stratford, Shakespeare’s Birthplace home of the world's greatest playwright, William Shakespeare. You’ll have a fascinating panoramic tour of the town and you’ll enjoy a photo opportunity at Shakespeare's birth home. And depart to Haydock for dinner and overnight stay.

A day in Wales

After English breakfast at the hotel and checkout and leave for a full day Wales sightseeing tour and to Conwy Castle - Built for Edward I, by Master James of St George, the castle is amongst the finest surviving medieval fortifications in Britain. In a word exceptional. You can’t fault it, from the grandeur of its high towers and curtain walls to its excellent state of preservation. An estimated £15,000 was spent building the castle, the largest sum Edward spent in such a short time on any of his Welsh castles between 1277 and 1307. Break for lunch and depart for a beautiful drive through Snowdonia National Park - Situated on the west coast of Britain covering 823 square miles of diverse landscapes, Snowdonia National Park is a living working area, home to over 26,000 people. As well as being the largest National Park in Wales, Snowdonia boasts the highest mountain in England and Wales, and the largest natural lake in Wales, as well as a wealth of picturesque villages like Betws-y-Coed and Beddgelert. Snowdonia is an area steeped in culture and local history, where more than half its population speak Welsh. Stop for a short walking tour of the ancient town of Chester. Have dinner at a restaurant. After dinner transfer to the Haydock hotel for overnight stay.

Edinburgh

Trip from Haydock to Edinburgh

After full English breakfast at the hotel, check-out and depart for Windermere. Welcome by local guide and listen to your guide talking about the scenic region and its many natural landmarks. Open space and a lack of pollution mean that the area is popular with lovers of the great outdoors, and hikers are as much of a feature of the landscape as its photogenic meres and mountains. Travel around Lake Windermere, the most famous body of water in the Lake District, and then stop to stretch your legs in the charming village of Ambleside with its rural pubs and independent shops. Have your camera at hand for impressive lakeside shots at Rydal Water, and continue to Grasmere, a tiny village of limestone cottages framed by slate quarries and rolling green hills. Enjoy a cruise on Lake Windermere. Lunch at restaurant and depart for Edinburgh. After arrival at Edinburgh check-in to the hotel and take rest for some time. Gather at the lobby for dinner. After Scottish breakfast at the hotel, will be met by local guide for a morning sightseeing tour of Edinburgh, Entrance fee to Edinburgh Castle & Crown Jewels - dating from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, are the oldest set of crown jewels in the British Isles. The existing set were used for the coronation of Scottish monarchs from 1543 (Mary I) to 1651 (Charles II). Since then, they have been used to represent Royal Assent to legislation in both the Parliament of Scotland and Scottish Parliament, and have also been used at State occasions, including the first visit to Scotland as sovereign by King George IV in 1822 and the first visit to Scotland as sovereign by Queen Elizabeth in 1953.The sightseeing tour ends at restaurant – guide ends services. First we travel to Pitlochry with a guided tour of Blair Castle - Discover Blair Castle and go on a journey into the fascinating past of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl. Unique amongst Scottish castles, the story told here will take you from a visit by Mary Queen of Scots to the Civil War, and from the Jacobite cause to the disaster of Culloden following Bonnie Prince Charlie's own stay in the castle. You'll hear how the lucky inheritance of a smuggler-infested island helped turn the castle into a comfortable home, and learn how Queen Victoria's famous stay led to the creation of Europe's only private army, the Atholl Highlanders. Have lunch at a restaurant and depart Pitlochry and beautiful drive through the Trossachs National Park and enjoy a one hour cruise on Loch Lomond offers cruises throughout the year allowing you to experience the beauty, tranquillity and adventure on Loch Lomond ~ the jewel in Scotland’s first National Park. The cruises allow you to access the inaccessible on the eastern shore, reduce your carbon footprint and experience some of the West Highland Way or climb the ‘Ben’.
